Our engineering product range is held in high regard within the industry and enables us to offer fast, tailor-made technological solutions without recourse to third parties. Our equipment includes the latest laser-cutting systems, CNC milling units, 8-sensor wheel alignment (4-wheel measurement), a vast range of special machinery, and our own paint shop. All of this makes it possible for us to create vehicle-conversion and prototype and small-batch production kits quickly and in a cost-effective manner – and without recourse to third parties.

High-performance systems for safety-related applications

You have challenging demands – we have the appropriate system solutions: automated driver and motor-control systems for electric motors. These solutions represent a genuine breakthrough not only for the automotive sector but also for all safety-relevant industrial applications. Here, microprocessors and multi-channel technology are used to forward input commands for acceleration, braking, and steering to a variety of servo motors. Input commands can be pre-programmed or relayed via digital input devices. Flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and safety – all in one system.

Automotive technology from Schaeffler Paravan

Schaeffler Paravan Technologie is a joint venture between Schaeffler (90 percent) and Paravan GmbH (ten percent) that was founded in October 2018. Space Drive is one of its key product developments. The drive-by-wire system with multiple redundancy is a groundbreaking technology for the automotive industry. The technology was originally developed to help drivers with disabilities by providing them with one of the most precious things there is for such individuals: mobile freedom. Thousands of first-generation Space Drive systems are being used successfully on the road today in vehicles adapted for disabled drivers. Customized configurations of Space Drive hardware and software enable even those with very severe disabilities to drive vehicles independently. Thanks to its multi-active redundancy, Space Drive is the only system of its kind approved for use on the road. Since its market launch, Space Drive has developed from a niche mobility product into a key technology for Level 4 and 5 autonomous driving.
